Excellent choice! I love Byblos. If you know Amal restaurant in Coconut Grove, this is the sister. What I most like was the hummus, falafel, mixed rice and the Brussels. I was a little bit disappointed with the dessert, is too much greasy: fried, sugar, syrup at the same time and it didnβt have a great flavor. Other than that the atmosphere is romantic, elegant and mΓstico. The service from the moment you arrive is excellent! Iβll come back after the renovations they are doing! Summer upper with a fixed menu of $45 per person is incredible amazing.
Overview
Walking into Byblos Mediterranean Restaurant Miami feels like stepping into a lively dinner party where the food does most of the talking. I first ate here after a long day wandering Miami Beach, and the contrast between the calm, polished interior and the buzz of Collins Avenue immediately stood out. Located at 1545 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, United States, the restaurant blends Eastern Mediterranean flavors with a modern coastal energy that fits the neighborhood perfectly.
The menu reads like a curated tour through the Mediterranean, pulling inspiration from Lebanese, Turkish, and Greek traditions while keeping the execution contemporary. During my last visit, our server explained how many dishes are designed to be shared, which aligns with how people actually eat in that part of the world. This approach isnβt just a trend; food researchers from institutions like the Culinary Institute of America have noted that shared dining increases guest satisfaction and time spent at the table, something clearly reflected in the steady, relaxed pace of service here.
One standout example is the lamb shoulder, slow-cooked until it practically falls apart. The kitchen uses a low-temperature braising process that preserves moisture while developing deep flavor, a technique widely recommended by professional chefs for tougher cuts of meat. Paired with house-made sauces and warm pita, it delivers that bold, comforting taste people associate with home-style Mediterranean cooking. Another favorite from the menu is the mezze selection, where smaller plates let you sample everything from creamy labneh to spiced potatoes. Guests often describe this spread as unforgettable flavors, and that praise feels earned.
The cocktail program deserves just as much attention. Inspired by Mediterranean botanicals, drinks often feature ingredients like rosewater, citrus peel, and fresh herbs. According to recent hospitality industry data, restaurants that invest in a thoughtful beverage program see higher return visits, and judging by the crowd on a typical weekend night, that holds true here. Wine lovers will also appreciate the carefully chosen list that leans toward Mediterranean regions, offering bottles that complement the food rather than overpower it.
What really elevates the experience, though, is consistency. Reviews across major dining platforms frequently mention attentive staff and reliable quality, even during peak hours. From a professional standpoint, that kind of consistency usually points to strong kitchen leadership and well-documented prep processes. While no restaurant is immune to off nights, itβs fair to say this location maintains a solid reputation among locals and visitors alike. One regular diner I spoke with summed it up perfectly by calling it a go-to spot for special occasions, which says a lot in a city full of dining options.
The dining room itself is designed to encourage conversation. Warm lighting, textured walls, and open sightlines create an atmosphere that feels upscale without being stiff. Itβs the kind of place where a casual dinner can easily turn into a lingering evening. Accessibility is another plus; being in the heart of Miami Beach makes it easy to pair a meal here with a walk along the shore or nearby shopping.
There are a few limitations worth mentioning. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends, and walk-ins may face a wait. Portions, while thoughtfully composed, may feel modest to those used to oversized plates, though the emphasis on quality over quantity aligns with modern dining preferences. Still, the overall experience balances flavor, atmosphere, and service in a way that keeps people coming back, reinforcing its standing as one of the most talked-about Mediterranean restaurants in the area.

First off I used to be a foodie before I felt I was put in jail for my gluten intolerance. To finally be able to eat out and have a full tasting menu, felt like heaven again. Not only was the service amazing with Simona, they were able to accommodate me on my birthday for the most Devine tasting menu⦠all Gluten Free. We have been to many places around Miami and paid a lot of money for mediocre food, service, and left feeling hungry and broke. But, this experience topped it for us! We ate and tried so many things and did not get sick. We had a couple starters, salad, main entree, and even dessert-5 stars! Will definitely be back and highly suggest anyone traveling to Miami who may have Celiac, GF intolerance, and wants to have an overall nice safe experience to check out Byblos.
Byblos Miami β A Must-Visit for Middle Eastern Fusion Cuisine If youβre in Miami and looking for a top-tier Middle Eastern fusion dining experience, Byblos Miami in South Beach is an excellent choice. The restaurant offers not only exceptional food but also a beautifully designed interior with a welcoming ambiance, lively music, and a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe. Wow!! 100 out of 100. I can not describe just how amazing Byblos Miami truly is. We threw my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Byblos - April 2024. Bought the entire restaurant out ... coordinated by Gabriella, whose is simply 2nd to NONE ... she amazing at her job and equally lovely as a person. The atmosphere is vintage South Beach. The food and bar are simply top notch. We have a discriminating crowd and people are still talking about it. I've included a few pics, but everything about the party and the restaurant was top tier. Do yourself a favor. Eat there. Throw a party there. It's just that good!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent ambiance. Stefan provided impeccable service and great menu recommendations. We enjoyed the octopus, hummus royal and the lamb shoulder. Make sure you save room for the chocolate hazelnut mousse. This was the best meal of our trip. Definitely worth it.
Exceptional food, the crispy artichokes and eggplant dumplings were especially superb, but everything was outstanding. Good cocktails. Service was wonderful and ambiance was delightful though the music is a bit loud and the restaurant dark enough other patrons were constantly turning flashlights on their phones on, both a bit distracting, but not enough to override an otherwise great experience, but I'd hope they'd turn the music down a bit and the lights up a bit.
This is our second review after 4 years we came back and loved it again and again - the food and staff are amazing - our server Xavier is so nice kind and very efficient. Here is some of the tasting we did today. Here is my older review 4 years before in 2021: Loved the food, seating are amazing, service is super good (our servers Hasna and Hansel were so nice and sweet). Loved the food so much - ask for a 3 course surprise meal and you will love it
It was not our first time. We tried old favorites and new items and always find the experience unique in presentation, creativity and flavors. Octopus, lamb ribs, kale salad, thrice cooked fries, short rib kabab, sujuk pide and strawberry cheese dessert was our meal items. Very satisfying choices to go back for although we would love to try the numerous other choices. Our server Luchi was attentive, truly friendly and very communicative with his recommendations and sincerity. Dessert was not memorable unfortunately- had too greasy deep fried-heavy aftertaste. Would not recommend if Iβm honest. We had chosen to sit outside in front of the entrance which has a lovely patio setting and the evening was a perfect breezy one.
